I use 3 different Pentax cameras- K-3, K-1 and 645Z. No matter what mode I use (landscape, natural, portrait, vibrant) and adjusting the colors, contrast, etc., I get unsightly reflections in daylight on red and yellow flowers. My eyes do not see this, even in the viewfinder or live view. A polarizer does not help nor does adjusting ISO. Now, shooting the same flowers in shade does not produce this undesirable effect.

Any suggestion how to eliminate it?

Clever sign. My favorite of the genre said: Private Property- Trespassers will be shot. Those not dead will be shot twice!

I gave one like this once to my ex-wife for her birthday. One Christmas I gave her an expensive Swedish stove and even offered to hold the lantern while she chopped the wood for it! Over the years I've given her a new fishing rod, vacuum cleaner, and a new pickup truck. I don't know why she ever left a generous guy like me.

'More' - yes. 'All' - no.

We are not talking about "all." No one, even the "robber barons"of old ever became wealthy without providing many other citizens with jobs and pay checks. While they are by no means perfect, that is one of the beauties of capitalism and democracy: those who work harder and produce more contribute to everyone. Fairness is far more than everyone having the same. It rewards those who do more with what sk**ls and intellect they possess, while offering assistance to those who have less.

This reminds me of a British nurse I worked with in Saudi Arabia. She drank too much hooch one night then drove a friends car down the wrong way of a one-way street. A Saudi cop stopped her, and asked if she was drunk. She said, "Of course I am drunk! How else do you expect me to live in this f**king country?" For all I know she may still be in prison.

How much protection against flare does the group think a circular polarizer provides?

I have a Pentax 645Z with 5 old FA lenses. I use it strictly for landscapes and on a tripod. It is just too heavy to handhold and produce it's best images.I also have a ff and crop 35mm type DSLRs. The Mf produces better detail, but on my computer screen it is difficult to see this.

I have used a hand grip for decades and have tried several brands. The absolute best I now use on my 3 cameras: Herringbone Classic. Made entirely of high grade leather in Korea. Amazon has them. Caution- they come in 2 types; with and without a base plate. They are somewhat difficult to attach but there are 3 good videos on Youtube.
Because the leather is stiffened, the strap does not flop around when you attach them to your tripod. Additionally, loosen the settings on your ball head and use your hand to quickly position your camera then lock down.
I have no doubt these will outlast me, and I never worry about them slipping loose. The price is from 34-43$ and they come in colors.
