I am adding a few pictures I had. I sure have been enjoying all the postings. I try to watch this site every day, but seldom have an opportunity to participate.
This was in a church where we attended a cello concert.
On the Minnesota State complex.
This is the soldier approaching the cutout!
I have never done this before and because of time constraints I just looked out the patio door! Thanks for the challenge. It was really fun. I just upgraded from Elements 2 to 10! I am going to like it!

If you let me know, I will be happy to send you a picture. Have you seen this picture? http://www.startribune.com/local/127347018.html
It is very touching. Just wish I had taken it!
(Sorry, I am new out here and I didn't get that quote right.)
I went to Fort Snelling National Cemetery today. It is difficult to comprehend the sacrifice when you see how many tombstones in just this one cemetery! What a debt we owe.
Just one little section. There were flags on each street!!
Each State was honored with their flag!
Just a small section of the cemetery

Which cow gave the quart? LOL
What inspiring photo's! I have tried countless times to get a decent photo of an eagle; I just love them. You have excelled and I was blessed this morning because you shared them. I went to your website and really had a delightful time. Great job!
I got to figure this out. Why do my pictures rotate when I attach!! Maybe next time I will figure it out!
Ken already posted a picture of the Showy Ladyslipper, Minnesota's state flower. I went out last year to find one in the wild. I was too early so the only ladyslipper I found was a small one growing in a bog. Walked a long distance to find it and then could not get very close to it! But it was a great day out in nature anyway.

I have the exact same problem with that lens! I hold it with one hand and take lots of pictures of the same object/scene!
I do not know why these are rotated wrong, they were rotated correctly when I choose them!!
I have been quietly enjoying all the pictures on UHH, hoping that someday I could take nice pictures of flowers, birds and landscapes. Today's challenge got me challenged since I live with a leprechaun! The background behind the full dressed leprechaun is horrible, but I was really limited.

Wrong day, will try again!
I have been lurking out here for some time, enjoying the many beautiful photographs, hoping that someday I would be that good. Today's challenge finally got to me. I live with a real leprechaun so I tried to photograph him. I was pretty limited in backgrounds and the sitting one has a terrible background, but it does show the whole outfit!
