Welcome to Day 176 :) .. First of all I want to apologize for my absence .. I have been fighting a wicked migraine for nearly a week. I've been living in a dark room .. it sucks.
So today it's all about Statues .. I wasn't able to get out and take any photos ... I had to go completely from the archives ... but here are some examples to get us started .. (such as they are) .. I look forward to seeing what y'all come up with.

for someone who lives it the desert you shure do have a lot to photograph... have a wonderful day i love all your closeups... thanks for sharing...

here are a few from St. Augustine. Sorry i have no idea who they are... the nice thing was they could hold their pose and keep their eyes open.. never once did they complain about me taking an extra shot or taking too long...

Sherrie...sorry to hear about Migrains You did a really good job of not letting on. I like the foot close up best...
Loguey you are a riot...I thought it was pretty cool when I saw the dollar and then even cooler when I saw Betty. I am honored.
Let me go dredge up some statues from my travels cause I have one or two that come immediately to mind.

Found some statues on one of my "city" trips.
Park Bench statues in Wolfeboro, NH (yesterday) Very strong sun.
From the front. They are life-size.
The "stem" statues of a fountain - but no water flowing
