This isn't good. I got an offer from Amazon to select "No-Rush Shipping" and get an additional 1% in Rewards. I'm barely getting "Rush-Shipping" now. It can take over a week to get a two-day package. I paid $150 for Prime, and it's now $179. If I accepted their offer, I would get an additional dollar back on a $100 order. No big deal.

Prime eliminated a subscription to The Washington Post, and they charge for many of the videos they offer online. Increasing the cost of Prime and slowing down delivery is not good. The main advantage of Prime for me is the free delivery. I've placed 440 orders since January 2022. That's about $2.93 delivery charge for each order, which I'm sure is less than I would have had to pay for shipping cost.

Been a while since I posted one of my old film images, thought I would toss one out there. This must be about the last of my film shoots as I soon after got my first Canon 5D. Didn't have much experience shooting nudes at this point in my photographic experiences, so slim pickings. Was much harder to find models before the explosion of social media online (and I wish I had lived near the beach Jim grew up near when I was growing up!)

Anyway, sorta abstract image, some will like (perhaps), some may not.

Shot on Kodak TMZ (3200film), probably with a Canon 1n, probably a 24-105 lens, no idea if a filter was used (if there was, probably a yellow). Probably D-76 developer (maybe Rodinal). Too lazy to dig out the negatives and verify any of that info...and it really doesn't matter.

Party? I didn't get no invite! Now I'm upset. Bummer!

So, here in San Antonio we suppose to be getting some cold next week, going down to freezing, or not? I goys to get the garden ready for a cold snap. Takes a bunch of time cause all them potted plant guys have to be taken into the solarium. So, more solarium pics will be occurring. Now, I got to admit the studios can get down right cold in da winter time for periods. The 220 portable heater works but it is noisy.

The point Tim? Well, the kitchen has a nice gas stove and that area is good for making food, yes, but I have been getting things set up for more studio work in there. Yes, it has studio space and it can be such fun. So soon the renovated studio work spaces will be hosting fun. I know you wanted to be assured that the party is just getting started!

That twisted fence post is a 4X4, it is but as old as me, plus 20 to 30 years. Don't make things like they use to. I have watched u-tube videos about putting 4X4s in concrete in the ground and that one should hope them to last about 30 years only. This one is between 70 and 100 years in the ground. So much for 'modern' building techniques.

Of course the stairs up to the apartment are only about 60 years old, The corner of the upper section of the riser split so I had to put a small concrete square on the ground and a long length of 2X4 to secure the riser back into place. It is just fine. I figure I will be off to the clouds when the stairs need to be replaced, maybe. I love this old structure, it was built in the old times when things were built to last.
