When you delete something from your hard drive, it is actually still there and tell something else is written on top of it. This is why you see computers being removed from the offices and homes of the bad guys. Maybe it's also true of the discs we stick in our cameras, at least that's my understanding. Re-formatting actually removes everything that is there.
I'm not sure why I feel this way, but I think I prefer signing your work by hand. Somehow it seems more authentic that way, at least it does to me.
These are great for job, however they were taken. I especially like the top one of mama sitting on top of the birdhouse. It tells a story with photography is all about.

Actually, this is fairly simple to do in Photoshop using two layers, one black-white and one in color. I did something similar for a shack in a snowstorm, keeping the window which showed the interior in color, and the rest of the scene in black and white. It came out quite nice.
Effects like these are fun to do, but I think you need to be judicious in their use. Backgrounds that are busy like these tend to distract from the main focus, in this case the flower and the dragonfly. But mine is only one opinion amongst many. I think this is great macro photography. Keep up the good work.
