She must have picked this up from the Camp Auschwitz tee-shirt guy. And she serves on the House Education Committee. I am looking forward to her service there as there will be no end to the knee-slappers belching forthwit

It's your Republican party loonies. Cherish it.

Must be something in that Georgia water down thar....remember when Rep Hank Johnson (D-GA) said Guam will tip over due to over population....appears GOP doesn't have a lock on stupidity....BTW, speaking of stupid, seen or heard from your Maxine Waters today?

Just passing on for those who might be interested in some 'rumors' and information about new cameras.

One interesting item of note was the mention (rumor) of a full frame Sureshot(?) RX FF model, wonder how big that will be? Seems there must be a need whether here or in Asia for al these new cameras other than for the Olympics

While I appreciate the wonderful advances made in DSLR technology and the awesome ones currently being produced I am currently enjoying a resurrection of those of yesteryear and how well they perform. Such as D50, D80 and D90 and even the CCD sensor quality of the D50 and D80. Finding a challenge during these Covid times of getting the most out of their limits. DSLRs won’t die. They will just live on and on...

So true and although it doesn't have the latest computer driven, fuel injected engine and has no electronics, my 1967 Mustang continues to live on and on....fun to tinker with though. Cheers.

Good article.....besides the "tech wall" that DSLR's appear to have hit, the market is drying up, mirrorless will be wonderfull, but even that will have to deal with a "smartphone" economy: Smartphones or variations may end up replacing most cameras of any type, as they keep getting better (and can do so many things), the big money is invested, and continues to be, the consumer get's the advantage of a heavily subsidized product for cheap (or so they think). Mirrorless will hold up for sometime, but unless the camera companies can come up with a way to "subsidize" camera ownership the way the cell phone market works (cell phone plans), their time may be limited as well. The camera is basically a stand alone tool, while the cell phone is globally connected to everything, and is anchored and anchors the user to the system, the money is in the plans.
Good article.....besides the "tech wall"... (show quote)

Dear Blaster34...It looks like Sony is going to be taking over the lead in the photographic industry in several areas that they are better and faster than all other brands. I love the fact that the A1 will capture 50.1 MP and shoot 30 frames per second as an indoor soccer photographer. Thanks for sharing!

You're more than welcome Shooter41

Big Bend NP....love the isolation of the park, the vastness, the high desert and at many times of the year, minimal visitors....Cheers.

Mike, my daughter gave me a wide angle/macro adapter for my iPhone, wish I would have had it, it seems to work pretty good, the macro especially, gotta get close though...
