Heck yeah !! How on earth (well obviously not really “on earth”) but how did you do that?

I appreciate that, Dennis. Thank you. I know you can understand that I was thrilled to get more of the egret than his butt! Lol

Very nice. I see you met my old friend Gary Grasshopper. I wondered where he flew off to. Now I know.

I’m pretty sure that as I leaned toward him I heard him say, “please tell my friend, Ken that I’m doing well, have tons of friends and while I miss him I’m lovin’ life here in the south!”

Very nice shots, Marg. Sounds like you've developed a great reputation with the golf course management - kudos!

Thank you very much, Elliott! On both counts. ☺️

i used to do a lot of shooting on golf courses...there were always plenty of bugs, butterflies, birds, and wild
flowers around. good job on the shots...i like the dragonfly and the grasshopper!
(while playing golf, the hardest thing for me was getting over water...lol, and hitting sand trap shots.)

Thanks very much, MT! That means a lot coming from you! I don’t usually mind water as my regular course has water on 17 of 18 holes but I really don’t like sand shots either! I’ve often admired photos of sand shots depicting the club slicing through the soft white sand, the ball gracefully popping up into the air with a lovely spray of sand surrounding the golfer. I can aspire but that’s never what my sand shot looks like!

Thanks so much, Doc! I really need to set up sometime with a tripod or at least a monopod and just practise. These guys are so quick! But a thrill when one is caught for sure!

Marg, these are terrific!!! The water droplet and flower and the last one are exceptional.

Thank you very much, Jim!
With regards to your post earlier this month - I have a canon 80D same as you. I switched to BBF more than a year ago. I had been told it would take a couple of weeks to get comfortable but it honestly took a lot longer than that. However, now when I pick up my t4i my thumb immediately moves and then I remember it’s still on shutter button focus. It will come and will be fun watching your comfort level increase.
