There’s more to find on the golf course than lost balls!

I have been granted permission to ride around a local golf course and I took advantage of that on Monday. I mainly concentrated in the hazards and out of bounds areas. I won’t say I’m most familiar with those areas but my golf balls sometimes do land there. 🥴

Not anti golf, but these are the best things I've seen come from a golf course! Good shots!

Beautiful set, Marg! The hanging water drop in #2 is cool. Your last shot belongs on your wall.

Thank you so much, Barbara. I loved your clouds earlier!

Well thanks, QD! By the way - I loved your big horn sheep. I wonder if there was salt in whatever your vehicle was washed with. My dog likes to lick the clean laundry for that reason.

Mike, when I saw the water drop I sure did wish I had the macro lens with me. The egret was hunting for frogs at the side of the pond when a gentleman walked by and he/she took flight. Thanks for your kind comments.

Thanks, Ken! I have donated a few framed photos to golf tournaments there. After getting permission from the manager I was introduced around as “our resident photographer.” When I showed up Monday an entirely different person came up to me, said he had been told to take care of me any time I show up and to make sure I had what I needed. Imagine that!!

Very nice photos. It pays to know some of the locals doesn't it?

Thanks, Keith. Yes, it certainly does. When I saw your title of African Fish Eagle I was almost expecting something Osprey like but it seems not that different from our eagle.

Yeah, quite a bit smaller than our Bald Eagle but all the power and majesty and beauty. And did you look at his feet?

I did! They look every bit as powerful as our eagle or osprey feet. I wouldn’t want to face them!
