Thanks for the advice. I haven't actually used it yet so maybe I'll see how it goes.
Yes - especially on the Great Lakes. My wife's great great grandfather was a lighthouse keeper of the Sturgeon Bay lighthouse on Lake Huron from 1893 - 1913. Attached are pictures of the Seul Choix Point Lighthouse on Lake Michigan.
I just bought a Canon 100mm Macro on Ebay and it arrived quite dirty. The glass has no scratches but there are a couple of small spots on the inside of the objective glass. The larger one is about 2mm in size and the other is maybe ½ mm. Does anyone know the best way to clean these spots? I've searched google and can't find anything on disassembly of Canon Lenses.
I live in the western Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I shoot a Canon T1i w/ 17-85mm lense and I'm learning to use PS CS5. I have an Epson R2880 photo printer. Other than photography, my interests are: motorcycles, guns, shooting, reloading, hiking, fitness, fishing, reading, woodworking, flight simulation and X-country skiing.
