I live in the western Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I shoot a Canon T1i w/ 17-85mm lense and I'm learning to use PS CS5. I have an Epson R2880 photo printer. Other than photography, my interests are: motorcycles, guns, shooting, reloading, hiking, fitness, fishing, reading, woodworking, flight simulation and X-country skiing.

Looks like you maybe do or should like rocks also, thinking you might need more then that house broom to straighten things up -and that was an example of me running off at the mouth. Actually looks like beautiful country and mostly nice and quiet which is one of my favorite things. I too use a Canon which some of those peskey Nikon users frown upon. I'll be watching to see what else you are up to. Added a random one - this is a picture of Omaha - Bloody Beach at Normandy France.

Welcome....I'm in the lower....outside of Ann Arbor. You have an awesome area for taking pics. I was up there last summer. My Husband would envy you...he loves gun, shooting, motorcycles, fishing and the UP! Post some pics!

The rocks came off my chimney - the picture was in 2005 so things look a bit different now. We are 3 miles down a deadend road from the closest county road. I read the book "Omaha Beach" a number of years ago - that was terrible.... failures of the senior leadership (GO level) caused substantial and unnesssary loss of life.
We are planning to take one last trip to Europe and walking that beach is on the agenda.

Hi Cary - I went to school in Ann Arbor.... really love it up here though - we have been hiking in Sylvania, the Porcupine Mountains and the Trap hills for the last couple years. Also like to go up to the Kewenaw Peninsula once in a while. Took a trip over to Mackinaw Island last week which was nice but it's nicer here around home.

I also grew up in Ann Arbor and went to all the way through school there, I love Ann Arbor. I am still in MIchigan
