I have had mine since May and have had great results with it. I recently submitted some green heron pics that I took with the lens. I'm not a pro but you be the judge. I was about 100-150 feet away from the subject and cropped it after that. Check them out.
We traveled to Lake Superior recently and were awed by the majesty of Lake Superior's scenery and fascinated by the history of the shipping and fishing trades of that region of the country.
Found this cove just off of Minnesota's North 61 along Lake Superior's north shore. Couldn't resist stopping the car to get the shot.
The storm arrived the next morning, completely changing the mood.
The seagull, despite being a scavenger remains a work of art.
Thanks! A local photographer suggested not using the vr mode. Your advice?
Thanks much! I'll give it a try.
Thanks! I love it. These were hand held shots but braced up against an old building. I'm still working on stopping the wings on my hummingbirds. What speed/f-stop/iso do I need?
While looking for the great blue heron I came accross this other smaller heron. Is it a green heron? I was about 100 feet away with the Tamron 150-600.
Butterfly knew I was shooting, would not right itself. I did not know what the bird was having for breakfast until I shot the pics. Note use of the napkin on the last frame.
A frittleary?
What's for breakfast?
What napkin?
Just got my tamron 150-600 to go on my D3200. Wow! If school would be over soon so I could escape from the classroom and shoot a bit. Became a granpa last night so lots of people pics to do as well as the nature shots. Nice to be on the forum!!
A genuine L- eagle shot of the bird!
