A safari trip is awesome. Take a system that won't be cumbersome. Definitely reduce the number of lenses, for fine dust can get on your sensor. Take lots of cleaning wipes.
That's correct, one file tree. I use it as my exclusive DAM (Data Access Manager), I have enough being a digital photog. Which is my thing-being an IT specialist is not.
No problem. ACDsee Ultimate is $84.95. If you get the "Honey" app you'll get a discount. I think Capital One also has discount coupons. This is a one time purchase and the software is yours for life. The purchase entitles you to one year of free updates and technical support.
Disclaimer: I am NOT affiliated with the company (ACDsee). I am a customer that uses their stuff and am quite pleased with it.
Hi, an interesting parametric/layered editor that does everything is ACDsee. Unlike Luminar Neo, it is not AI based. You can minimize your screen time ny creating presets of the most commonly used tools. But when a unique image needs more, you have powerful features/tools at your finger tips. Also unlike L. Neo, it doesn't overwhelm your CPU.
You may want to consider a smaller camera body. In a studio, your equipment is safe, however, outside all bets are off. Paris has changed dramatically, the economic gap is larger between the "have not" and the "have".
Irrespective of which parametry photo editor one uses, Noise Reduction should be (and I prefer it) to be done at the front end of the process, while Topaz's Sharpening AI should be applied at the tail end of the process.
... then used the Erase feature, Remove Dust Spots and as far as I can see the only thing that was removed was one nostril.... [/quote]
The "remove dust spots" alludes to SENSOR dust which most commonly replicates as spots on a n image. The scanning process changes the image composition. What you need is a content-aware repair tool like the one in ACDsee or photoshop.
Working on a trip. If I could go to only one, would you recommend Yosemite or Glacier National Park? Thanks, Wes GA
Hi, I would suggest Bryce Canyon. Given the post pandemic situation, expect crowds in ANY NP. this may require additional planning regarding all transportation. No one mentions this important fact.
