Not a chance. I have Luminar 4 and Luminar AI and those programs are DOA with the NEO release. Skylum releases half baked software and then dumps it for some new half baked software.

I also have both and I am using a Mac Studio and Neo is slow. Ai and 4 runs faster. But I am tired of have to keep buying add on.

I have it and it is ok but when I bought it I had a membership X which I renewed I bought the plug in straight out. Noe then they changed it to where I could not watch the videos unless I upgrade my membership to pro. If I had to do it all over again I would probably would buy Adobe for $9.99 a month. I feel Luminar Neo screwed me as a customer.

that is what I wanted do but it is broken into three pieces and when I bought I didn't not know it was broken until I got home and I only have two parts of the ring. I email the person I bought it from to see if she could find it. so far she hasn't replied.

I replaced a similar broken focus ring on an old Minolta lens by using a rubber O ring. Your local hardware store can help.

the focusing ring on this lens is not like other Nikon lens. it is hard plastic and very narrow and is almost impossible to manual focus with out it.

I just purchase a Nikon AF 55mm Micro lens off Facebook market place. It came with a Nikon D8008 camera and 5 rolls of film for $30 which was a great deal. I’m also going to try out the camera tomorrow. But when I got home and really looked at the lens the focus ring was broke and part of the ring is missing. Does anyone know of a place I can buy a focusing ring for this lens? The lens works perfectly with my d850 the only reason I would want to fix the focusing ring is for manual focusing. I’ve looked on eBay and Amazon. Also the film is expired the Kodak expired on 6-2016 and the kentmere on 11-2017 can I still use the film? Thank in advance.

This is my first try at shooting firework. I use my Nikon D850 with a old NIKKOR 20mm 3.5 @ F11 iso 200 for 6 seconds.
I used Luminar Neo to crop and edit. I had the lens focused at infinity.

If you happen to be using a Mac, then try Preview (on every Mac). Windows has something similar.

If you are using a Mac with preview I would suggest this app. It open Nikon raw file instantly no waiting.

I black and white I edited and it was imported from my camera with a cable on my iMac the color one was dragged off from a card reader to the desktop. The exif is the same. I uploaded the original files so you can look at exif data.

It has to do with the lens because it show as a Sigma on both cameras. And it’s the same if I transfer the photos with the cable hooked up to the camera to transfer the photos or if I use a card reader. So both the 7100 and 850 see the lens as a sigma.

It is also interesting that it is showing the focal length as 157mm. Do you have your camera set up to show detailed info when you review images in-camera? I'd suggest taking a look at that to see if the problem is with your camera and/or lens or with your editor/EXIF viewer. 157mm would be the effective focal length if that lens was used on a DX camera.

I have a old Nikon AF MICRO NIKKOR 105mm 1:2.8 D and I just noticed that in the exif of the photos I take is wrong. it shows as a Sigma 105mm f2.8 EX DG. I put the lens on my D850 and my D7100 and both shows the the same. is their to make it show the correct exif info?
