Rudbeckia and Queen Ann's Lace. These were growing by the road on the way to my house.

I hear you. I have difficulty capturing the majesty I see with my eyes thru the lens of a camera. Very nice pic!

Thanks finnmap, I was trying out a different camera to take this pic with. A Sony 5000 with a 19mm Sigma lens. I have trouble holding it steady, I do much better with the bigger camera and don't like not having to use the live view on the back of the camera. One of my kids will inherit this camera pretty soon. The sunset was beautiful though last evening.

This photo does not do justice to the natural beauty that inspires me by the hand of God.

Fabulous dragonfly on the double download! the joints are so well made to give it the flexibility. I love the colors too. Especially the eyes. All round good set!

Great pics! Check your BBee for a Carpenter Bee; Xyelocopids have bare abdomens, BBsd usually hairy.

Thanks, I check that out. I'll look for activity and holes in the wood fence by the bush it was on.

Great timing, I have been trying to catch one in flight today, I never did get one in flight today.

I think that is what it is, I'm not a bug expert. Enlarge and check out the construction of the body on the dragonfly. I think honeysuckle may be my favorite flower.

Very nice shot. I love the Hummers too. I too think they extend more energy fighting for territory than they get from eating at the feeders.

Great photo's, I don't think I have seen that bee before either. Does it sting?
