What an awesome icon of history, and the debt we owe to those who made those sacrifices.
When I posted, I thought it was downlodable. We clearly saw from both sides, lucky or good timing.
Good luck, if the weather is good scenery is spectacular.
We got to see bears, caribou (both male and females), moose, sheep and many more critters. It was the best trip we ever have taken.
We had great weather at the right times on this trip.
The story we were told was if you got to see Denali from both sides, that put you in the 30% club. That 70% of those visitors do not get both sides.
Denali from the other side. they say that we are in the 30% club. Seeing Denali clearly from both sides.
swartfort: Just been busy with life the last forty years. Never lost my passion for photography, well now I have retired for the second time. Now I want to focus again on improving my skill. I am using a Canon EOS Rebel T7i. Am learning digital photography which is some different than 35mm. Principles are the same, technology is now the new game. Now that I got started I will be posting other photos from our Alaskan adventure and other subjects. I'm from Oklahoma.
Been watching UHH for sometime. Enjoy the many conversations. Experience was in 35mm and experimented a lot. Use to shoot photos for farm implement houses when they sold a new tractor or combine. Changed professions and dropped photography for about forty years. Now it's digital and learning all over again. But having fum. Just got back from Alaska. Good weather for Denali.
