love all the pictures but the Salmon berry is just great. Is it edible like the blackberry. Also I don't see thorn on the stem. Can't remember this berry and that is strange as I lived in Washington for two years and I am not an indoors person. Thanks for sharing.

The salmon berry is edible. It has a refreshing taste that is not to sweet and is not tarte. You are right about the thorns. It generally grows in areas that get a of moisture.

Here are some pictures taken of squirrels during an afternoon walk (5-6-2020) in Bush Park, Salem, Oregon. This is my first experience taking pictures of squirrels with this camera setup. They were taken with a Canon Rebel 3ti camera with a Canon 55-250mm lens. Please let me know which one or ones you prefer. Comments and suggestions are welcome. Thank you. Enjoy.

Those Lego vehicles are pretty well detailed, are some of them motorized? Nice pics.

No one bothered you at either place? Were there many cars there? I'm surprised because of the restricted driving guideline put out by Oregon- thought maybe they would have Baskett gated off somehow. Hmm. The 4th picture has a bill like a shoveler but the coloration looks more like a Cinnamon Teal. Glad to see that the eagles are still hanging around.

Hi:

There is a good article in today's Statesman -Journal (April 6) about where you can hike, camp, and fish under the current order in Oregon. Ankeny and Basket Slough are both mentioned by name. Hope you can get out and enjoy some photography soon.

I agree with you---the 4th pic looks more like a Cinnamon Teal (after looking at pics on the internet).
