As noted in my first response, “I loved your photo.”

It would be better if you made your statement so it could not be misunderstood.
I took your statement as body shaming.

Constructive feedback!. Thank you. I had not complimented you on the photo and I wanted to say that your work caught my attention . The color, the intensity of the models expression, and its timeliness were exceptional.
I will refrain from discussing the lessons I learned related to body shapes and cultural values while living in the South Pacific.
Thanks for hitting me back.pila

Thank you very much:
Please don't comment on my photos, people like you (narrow minded) are what makes life miserable for people that don't conform.

Of course. You exemplify why I comment seldom on this site. pila

You are kidding, right? (If not, the Classical Painters, among many others, would be shocked to hear this.)

Nice dialogue.
Of course, you and I are not discussing a classical body. I very much agree that such a body would bear little to no resemblance to “my stay at home body” of today. Yes, a toned body would not be a “classical body.”
Face it. We agree. The toned bodies of today are not my ideal. Have fun with all those body shapes. Your model is lovely and very human.

Oh.
What is a “stay at home bod” ?
Well, a stay at home bod would be Flabby, untoned, and fleshy,
Somewhat corpulent..
This perception is a generalization
On the other hand , a stay at home body Might just be a little untoned.
Thanks for asking. Pila

I AM assuming you have a 50mm f1.8 or an 85mm f1.8. I lent my 50mm to my daughter which she uses on her D7500 for family shots. Thursday we were at their new house for my grandson's sixth b'day party (family and grandparents only). She used the 50mm with no flash with great result.

Well advised,

Not far from my perspective. Number two had a slight edge.

If you go all the way to Alaska, you like to come back with quality photos. So take the D7500 with 70 to 300 zoom. But I also would take a wide angle lens for landscape images.

Clear advice and spot on

Welcome to the forum.

No one knows when it will fail,
but at some point it will.

Will you repair it or get a new camera?
If get a new camera, do you want it available when this one quits?

Or you could send it out for a new shutter before it quits.

What makes you feel most comfortable?

Extremely well answered

Yeah. I would go with the new Tamron. Likely that you will use it occasionally. Plus, great reach. Take the money u save and put it towards a super Nikon lens that will be a go to.
