We've had as many as 20 horses at a time, the first time Daisy saw a horse was when one walked up to my daughter, Daisy didn't like that and chased the horse off. She's used to them now.
We live on 15 acres and if anybody comes within 500 feet of the house Daisy lets us know. For the longest time, the UPS driver wouldn't get out of his truck to make a delivery, he'd just put it on the ground if the weather was nice or blow the horn. It took 5 years for him to partially get over his fear. He's getting better, he'll actually get out of the truck when I'm there.
I saw the same video, it was disgusting. They can be mean though, they are over protective of their family, but if you have a lot of visitors they mellow out. When Daisy was young, an 11 year old boy from across the street just walked into the house to play with my grandson, Daisy went up the stairs, gently took hold of his wrist and led him back to the door.
I'm surprised that you know about the breed, there aren't many breaders around.
Thank you for the kind words, sand blast art is what I do for a living.
This is Daisy, she's a 10 year old FILA, (google it). Daisy won't be with us forever, but look at the second photo, this is Daisy sand blasted on black granite.
I'd love to Sarge, but I would have to find the negatives that are in individual envelopes, with about 10K negatives in a file cabinet, then I would have to get them printed.
I made my living doing aerial photography back in the 80's and have lots of shots of Portsmouth, one of these days I should get them out and get them printed. I've long ago given away the original prints.
Got some great photos of Nubble light from the air as well.
Since the death of the Old Man of the Mountain in Franconia, those 3 tugs are probably the most photographed items in the state. I've got some aerials that I shot back in the 80's.
Another good reason to not remove the card is you might forget to remove it from your computer and go on a shoot and leave the card behind, it happened to me a couple weeks ago.
The rule of thirds existed way before 1979, I first heard about it in the 60's.
You've got that right, I was a Realtor for many years.
Realtors hate to be called Real A tors.
I agree 100% opening and closing a jpg does nothing to degrade it, it still has the same number of pixels. If that were the case if you use your computer to store and play music, then the music would get worse each time you open and close it.
Don't forget the 60 +- covered bridges in NH.
Jim originally from south eastern NH
Nikon has a hood for that lense, but Amazon has an exact duplicate for a fraction of the price. The hood should have been included with the lens.
The Nikon hood has a tendency to fall apart, but can be put back together, but when you do use a liberal amount of super glue and it won't fall apart again, just don't get super glue near the moving parts.
Raising the shutter speed would cause underexposure not overexposure.
The comment before yours mentioned a faster lens, this isn't referring to the shutter speed, it is refering to the lens opening or f stop. For instance if the maximum lens opening on a particular lens is 2.8 and another lens is 1.4, then the 1.4 is the faster lens.
