Funding for the FAA was greatly reduced by the government, and it was necessary that Boeing look after a lot of their regulation. The system is largely broken.

That will only address a small part of the problem. We have to get away from using fossil fuels... coal, oil and gas. They all contribute.

A bigger problem is the warming of the polar areas. This causes the polar jet streams to become unstable and has the effect of bringing cold weather to the southern areas. In addition, the changes in weather patterns will bring excessive rainfall and drought periods to other areas. It's a real big problem and it could get a lot worse.

Hold on to your hat... climate change of late is measured in decades and not millennium. We have changed the atmosphere in ways that have not been seen during the time there have been people on earth. There is a direct correlation of CO2 and earth temperature. We have no idea of how this will end up. Once it starts, it may not be possible to stop.

There is no change in daylight. Climate change is a result of out putting CO2 in the atmosphere.
