I own that lens. Cost me $98 in a pawn shop. It's lightweight and sharp as a tack. I use it on my D750. It's a great walk around lens.
You've got some checking to do. I checked your bag size and it is OK for carry-on for domestic flights and is likely fine for international. You may want to check with your airline to make sure and ease your mind. International flights MAY have more stringent size restrictions than domestic flights. Ask if they have a weight restriction. Some international flights do have wight restrictions.
TSA has always opened my bag but rarely removes anything. Batteries with plastic covers on them are not usually a problem. Go to their website to see the latest rules.
Have fun.
I use the famous Vivitar/Cosina/Phoenix/Promaster 100mm Macro (Plastic Fantastic). It is very light and very sharp.
It also rattles as the autofocus works BUT it is sharp.
AND it is CHEAP. It can be had on EBAY for well under $100.00

Thanks for the processing info.
Love what you've done with this Winter scene. Our snow is melting here in the East but I still love this image.
Would you mind sharing your secrets for post processing?

I picked up a Nikon 24-120 F4 Refurbished lens. Works great. Good deal.
The 1st is a visit from TWO Coopers Hawks who were stretching their wings:
The 2nd is ANOTHER Coopers Hawk that dropped in to survey my back yard.
Here's one more link to a possible way to determine a value: http://schneidan.com/2015/08/26/whats-it-worth-how-to-estimate-the-value-of-old-film-cameras/
You might also consider placing it with one of the large antique camera auctions.
Good luck
Brings back memories. Was with the Bees in Da Nang in '68-'69. Remember watching these F4s taking off from Da Nang airport both night and day!
Thanks for posting.
Download the digital copy of your manual to your phone / pad / laptop.

I've lost 3. Found 1.
Bought this one from B&H: Hoodman Hoodeye Eyecup for Nikon Square Eyepiece Models
B&H # HOHEYEN22S ■MFR # H-EYEN22S
It DOES NOT COME OFF. Worth $20
I've sold and bought from KEH.
They pay decently for equipment and their charges are reasonable for purchases.
Their service is outstanding. I've received two items that didn't work. They replaced them immediately. Then even upgraded one.
