You and the government don't KNOW THE PARTICULARS OF EVERYONE'S PREGNANCY. THIS IS A DECISION OUR DOCTOR, MY WIFE, AND I SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO MAKE ON OUR OWN. THE LAWS IN AFFECT AT THE TIME NEARLY KILLED MY WIFE. WE KNEW FOR A MONTH THE FETUS WAS DEAD; HOWEVER, AFTER HAVING A BLOOD TEST EVERY DAY FOR A MONTH, THE DOCTORS WERE ALLOWED TO TAKE THE DEAD FETUS AT 3:00 AM ON A SUNDAY MORNING. IT WAS AT THAT TIME WE FOUND OUT WE HAD TWINS.... WE COULD HAVE SAVE ONE OF THEM... PLUS SHE WAS WITHIN HOURS OF LOSING HER LIFE. THEN THERE WAS THE FULLY EQUIPPED NURSERY TO CONTEND WITH. DON'T AUTOMATICALLY ASSUME AN ABORTION IS BECAUSE THE MOTHER DOESN'T WANT TO GIVE BIRTH! IF YOU HAD NO PROBLEMS DELIVERING A BABY, GOOD FOR YOU; HOWEVER, NOT EVERYONE IS SO LUCKY. Some times "well meaning" individuals should just mind their own business. To this day, 55 years later, 
I still have nightmares about them pusing my the 23 year old wife into the delivery room, that Sunday morning, knowing our first child was already dead, but not knowing if I have to plan my wife's funeral as well.  

An open mind comes from learning. Learning leads to more learning and thinking. Thinking leads to more knowledge. Knowledge leads to wisdom. None of these things can come from letting someone else do your thinking.

Merriam-Webster added the word woke to its dictionary in 2017, defining it as, Aware of and actively attentive to important facts and issues (especially issues of racial and social justice). The Oxford dictionary adopted it the same year, defining it as originally: well-informed, up-to-date. Now chiefly: alert to racial or social discrimination and injustice. Stay WOKE my friend.

My Wife's father, Gordon Roy Dupries, was a B-17 tail gunner in Germany. She never knew him.

Lots of people don't like the belts against their body and try to defeat the latches. Unfortunately you are only TRULY protected if the belts are snug before you crash. Like the falling elevator, you can't react just before the crash.

Ford use to do a lot of accident investigations with several state highway police departments. On on occasion a trooper in a Crown Victoria was involved in a head on crash with a suspect driving a pick-up truck. The accident investigation indicated a combined equivalent speed in excess of 130 mph. The trooper was belted and his air bag deployed leaving him with heavy bruising in the area of the belt/ shoulder strap surviving the crash to return to work a week or so later. The suspect's remains were found on the trunk of the Crown Victoria after going through the windshield of the pick-up ,bouncing off the hood and windshield, and then removing the light bar on top of the police car.

Nothing more dangerous to your health then flying through the air at a high rate of speed and no protection.

Deepening on how and what you hit, you may not be in front of the air bag when it deploys. If you are not belted and this could lead to more serious injuries. The modern seatbelt restraints are intended to be used in conjunction with the airbag. As a safety engineer at Ford in Dearborn for several year I visited some very nasty accident sites where people did not use the restraints thinking the airbag alone would protect them. At one site I visited the occupant was ejected by the airbag because he was airborne when the bad was deployed.

Sealing the pothole? I've seen them just toss a couple of shovel full of mix on a water filled pot hole??? Next day, guess what?

Recycle. Around here if you put them out at the end of the drive, a "scrapper" will take them and recycle them.
