Go a little further south and into Utah to see Promontory Point where the Golden spike was driven. And the rocket garden at Northrup (used to be Thiokol) definitely has photo worth exhibits.
As a young man I used to deer hunt in the Saw Tooths, beautiful area. Got lost once and ended up in the city of rocks.
A few years back I seen a news report about a cop who had left a cased submachinegun on his roof and drove off. They were asking for public help in its recovery. Needless to say it was never recovered.
Years ago someone put out one sided 3 dollar bills with a picture of Bill Clinton. In the cafeteria at work I gave one of these to the girl behind the counter to pay for a donut. She promptly gave me change for the purchase. I quickly pulled a five from my wallet and told her it was a joke . I didn't want to go to jail for 3 dollars. What person thinks a 3 dollar bill is real?
A quarter tone electric trumpet isn't everyone's cup of tea but I loved it.

Thanks for the memories.
I first discovered Don Ellis in the late 60s at the Reno jazz festival where he was the guest artist. I've been a fan ever since.
By the way we took our division with a jazz version of Old Man River.
I think a lot of folks here missed the irony.
Thanks for the image, I enjoyed it.
You rock Jerry!
Thank you, lots of good information to try.
We have finaly gotten it to work on my wife's windows computer but I'm still having problems with my chrome book. I agree with you, the problem is probably software in the chrome book.
Thanks again for the help.

Thank you for your response, it nice to know I'm not alone with this problem.
I'll keep on battling and maybe we can both benefit.

No built in GPS. That eliminates that possibility, but thanks for the idea.
I don't think GPS is turned on but I will check. Thanks for the tip.
Just shifted the computer to a 24hr clock. Still have the same problem.
Thanks anyway.
