I had a very satisfactory c&a for my Rolleicord III from Mark Hansen at http://www.zeissikonrolleirepair.com/index.html
He’s located in Stevens Point Wisconsin. Email is ClassicCamera@comcast.net. These. Contacts are a few years old but the website is still live.

Long ago I learned the order of frequency in English as this: ETAOINSHRDLU (say “eta-owen-sherdlu” to yourself to keep it in mind). Works for Wordle and especially for “Wheel of Fortune.”

EKTAR (at least when I was there) was a semi-professional, ultra-fine grain, color negative film.

Those of us (well, at least one of us) who are “STILL there” can reassure you that Ektar is still around and definitely Kodak’s professional color negative film.

I owned a Mercury II half frame years ago. Oddly interesting design and took decent pictures. This one? Maybe not.

I have a Yashica (Kyocera) Samurai ½ frame. Auto exposure, auto focus, takes really good pictures. Here’s one from a few years ago.

What the hell is a “dashound?”
The dog pictured is a dachshund. German for “badger hound.”

To me the M1 chip trumps the monitor size. I bought a MacBook Air last year and the performance is stupendous.

All worthy of a mounted wall display or a small coffee table book or both. The light and the subtlety of the color are exceptional.

I shot a lot of Super 8 movies of my kids in the 1970’s, and believe they were at 30 fps. Are you sure they were at 18 fps?

Super 8 was 18 fps.

Wolverine warranty is also based on number of scans. If film breaks and you need to restart, counts as 2 scans.
Bought a Magnasonic unit instead, same price. Higher resolution scan, much better warranty (not based on number of scans).
Time consuming, but decent results. Scanned approx 20 films (250ft/ film)

Do you have details on the Magnasonic? I’ve only seen the Kodak Reelz, eyesen and the two Wolverines.
