Sad, all the files out west. I was born and raised in Wyoming and have a lot of friends and family there.

Looked them up. Definitely a male and female Comerant.

Thanks. I am up in Orange Co. NY and I have never seen birds just like those.

I use a Tamron 150-600 for my wildlife shots on my Nikon D7100 and love it.

Great shots. 1 and 3 are my favorites for obvious reasons, I think. 1 could be titled, "The way we found her." 3 maybe, "Does she have a new life to live." In any case a great find.

It looks as though the light was dim enough that you were able to use a slow shutter speed to blur the water and small aperture for depth of field, yet not need a higher ISO to get a proper exposure. I like no 1 best for how the leading lines guide me through the image, but would like it more cropped just above the circular branch. The image gains little from what's above and with a tighter crop the branch is a great framing device. Another case of where more is less.

Thank you for your input and help. Will look at the cropping.

Like it better with the counter clockwise rotation! 👍🏻

Thank you and I agree. I used the level on my tri-pod, but I am guessing on of the legs slipped. I was on some crazy ground, rocks, downed trees, etc.

#1 is a work of art. Both are nice

Thank you! I plan to have that one printed on glass as a housewarming present to my grandson.
