I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at UHH and their Members for all their posts and photographs which gave me much pleasure throughout the year.
I would like to wish you and your families a very happy, healthy and an abundant New Year for 2020.
For me, 2019 was a very challenging and difficult year on all fronts allowing little time to pursue my favourite hobby, photography. However, I did manage to clean the dust of the lens and get some fresh air a couple of times.
One place in particular that I like to visit is James Turrell’s Skyspace at the National Gallery of Australia.
Not only is it peaceful and calming setting, it presents many photo opportunities any time during the day/evening/night (posting this from iPad so may not be the best resolution).
Amazing birds - thanks for sharing.
Absolutely love the colours and contours. Top notch!
Beautiful bird, and photos. This little guy is not shy at all - is he/she?
Unfortunately, the weather is topsy-turvey world wide.
You’re most welcomed. My sister passed away 3 years ago. I think Les is having Xmas with her daughter so will send your message to her so he can read it.
Perhaps we’ll cross paths/photos again in the future. Due to personal reasons haven’t had time for photography for last yea or so but now will definitely start again in the NY.
May you and your family having a joyous Christmas and may the NY be all you wish for.
His name is Les Mara and If m,y memory serves me right he could have play five-eight position but not 100% sure (it’s a small world).
Summer???? It is 15 deg. C and wind blowing up to 50 km.per hr. Last week high 30’s. Would love some rain or snow. Have too many bush fires raging at present in all our States and much drought. Oh, for a White Christmas - my last was when living in Rhode Island back in the mid 90’s. Merry Xmas from Downunder.
Very nice photos and wonderful scenery too.
Love looking at all bird postings and it was most appreciative being able to read the names of the bids. Especially when we don’t have many of the species. Well done.
