My cameras do take great pictures. That’s why I chose them. Otherwise, wouldn’t we all still be using the first camera we ever had? I do feel some gratitude to my camera but realizing I did have something to do with making the photos. In other words, I just say ‘thank you, I like it.’
We have our trash and recycle bins near the mail box. Most of the mail never makes it to the house. Everyday I get something from insurance companies wanting to help me with supplemental policies since I will be turning 65 soon. How do they know this? It is very annoying.
Fantastic photographs. Is that an Ent in #7?
Very nice! How did you manage to find the hummingbird nest? I have been hoping to see one for years.
Digital cameras are complicated. The best thing to do is pour over the manual. If you don’t have one, order an extended manual for the model. I did that for my D3 and D500 and learned a whole lot.
We call that a grass spider down here. Don’t know the scientific name. They are all over the place and occasionally get in the house.
Could anything be sweeter than a new puppy? Especially a beauty like her..
Rhodesian Ridgeback? Great dogs.
I really don’t have any idea of the number of shutter actuations on my FM2 but I am sure it would not be anywhere in the 50,000 range. I used it exclusively for 20 years but not every day. I don’t think the shutter is worn out, just sticking from sitting in the case unused for a long period of time. I put a desiccant pack in the case but I am in the humid south.
I picked up my beloved Nikon FM2 yesterday and discovered that the shutter has frozen. Is there any gentle action that I can try to free it or do I send it off to Nikon? Thanks for any advice.
I love my M3 and X-Vario but that's nuts.
