Excuses, excuses, excuses. In my opinion traffic cameras keep the idiots in line over time. To many times semi’s that are speeding run red lights way after the light changed. There are too many times I had to maneuver defensively to not be involved in an accident because some idiot ran the red to make his turn across my lane. JMO

I condemn actions like what happened on October 7th. No matter the perpetrator. Having said that, many many issues I have with Israel make me wonder about the state. You cannot cry anti semitism every time actions by Israel are justly condemned, that is not how it works. My religion ( proud Christian ) demands of me to love everyone even my enemies and to pray for them. Just criticisms of a state have nothing to do with Anti. I enjoy your sermons and I will continue to pray for All.

There are great books by Scott Kelby. He talks strictly about how to and not about the technical stuff that would be no benefit to you at this time. Go to Barnes and Noble and check it out. Just a suggestion.

The way I hear you is. You are frustrated that your pictures turn out out of focus, soft etc. If that is correct then I would suggest that you research how to take sharp pictures, plenty of help available on this forum. Nothing is more discouraging than to work on a project just to see results that do not meet expectations. As far as what to shoot, there is a world out there that offers unlimited objects to photograph. I myself have concentrated on birds in all different situations which took quite a while to research but has turned back some great results. There are many other areas to research and shoot. Hope this helps a little.

I only owned the D7 II for a very short time but seem to remember that you have to activate the function in camera menu.

How many focus points do you have active? If you have let’s say all 61 the focus may jump around. Narrow it down to let’s say 5 or nine and then use the eye detection, you may have better results.
