I find it interesting that, while most replys here are in a jocular vein, several have been humorless and, shall we say "parental."

Some people just don't like or know how to have fun!

So where's your "reply in a jocular vein"? (You didn't mean jugular vein, did you?)

No, i meant jocular, as in having fun, merriment, joking. I was jocular until someone went for my jugular. Ah, but such in the merriment of this opus that I almost regret the time spent taking pictures in lieu of responding to such sophomoric comments. I'll simply have to assuage my angst by perusing the latest CaNikOlymPenSon conspectus. GRYM,G

Howdeee, You can use Picasa for free and it will edit RAW format.. Google Picasa and see if it is what would work for you;;

Don't you need a special program to work with the Raw pictures? I CAN shoot in both (JPEG & RAW) .. but, in the past only used JPEG .. people have seen some of my shots & said they were good .. but, would be better if I were able to adjust them in the Raw format. I know NOTHING about Raw .. I have heard you need a special program & it is quite complicated. HELP!

Today started with something different. I think it’s called “Blue Sky & Sun”. That’s okay, even with all the rain we get it’s still a beautiful place to live.

We decided to get out the Hot Rod and clear the pipes. Headed West on Hwy 101 to Crescent Lake, there’s a number of small water falls along the road by the lake. That’s what I was looking for and you would think at this time of year they would be running strong, but NOT, they were either dry or had very low flow. Did pull in where the lodge is (closed till May) and found some well watered foliage. We continued West on 101 to Sappho and took a right on Hwy 113 where we found a good sized water fall but was almost impossible to get a clear view of. But tried anyway. We then turned right onto Hwy 112 and headed home.

All in all it was a nice drive. About five hours on a Great Day!

Oh, and these were post processed with my new Lightroom 4 update. Just have to say the controls are a little different but so far, “I like”.
