Yes. It’s all over in the south. Of course, my grandmother used to call them weeds. I always loved them.

1) Not having a camera with me most/all the time. (Yeah, the phone camera is good, but not really good enough - nor wide, nor long, etc. etc.)
2) Using a tripod. (The monopod is always with me, but I almost always forget the tripod)
Yep... #1 is my problem, sad to say. I always tell myself I’m going to next time :/
Love the shots... hate it when I swim and pull up a handful of tentacles 😖.
I believe it is called Lantana.
I’d personally say, go for it! You do you. Take “your” photos and be proud of what “you” did. Who knows, you can probably pick up some tricks or knowledge. I have found through my course of learning, that other photographers are really helpful and don’t care what you shoot with as long as you are shooting and having fun. I hope this helps. ~Mike
I wouldn’t think it would be a fuel oil barge but never know. It does have the large crane onboard it though. That’s the only reason I could think of. I used to, actually, work for that company... Kirby Inland Marine. My father was a captain for them.
That’s weird. That’s not that boats job especially with the barge being loaded. 🤔
Those are great! I love the pp.
FileZilla is probably one of the better, free, applications you'll find. As an IT manager, this is the only ftp client I allow. It's ease of use and reliability are second to none.
Check out Lynda.com. We used this in my college graphics classes.
Thank y'all for the replies and critiques. As I venture further into this, I find myself wanting more (I'm sure y'all understand that). I will take these critiques and run with them. Thank y'all again.
Hi!
I'm still semi-new to photography, but getting better all the time (I think). I'm a disabled Marine enjoying something that I've always wanted to do and now find myself with the time especially since my kids are grown. I am just in need of unfiltered, objective critiques. If you like them, let me know. If you don't, let me know. If something is technically not sound, let me know. I would surely appreciate.
Thank you and Semper Fi,
Mike Gentry
