[quote=JeffL]If you want insult people or get into politics, go to the Attic. If you want to say”tits” than you are being disrespectful to the women and some men who frequent this forum.

If you are presenting this as fact, as it appears, then back it up with facts. If this is your opinion, please keep to yourself.

Well said...it just irritates me when such comments are made about your beautiful model and you wonderful photos.

Keep up the good work

Charlie,

Are you so smart that you know how the model feels about this comment? I know many women that would be flattered by this comment and many who would use the same term in complimenting another woman. You need to reconsider applying your prudish attitudes willy-nilly.

can we just play nice in the sand box?

You should know by now that this is impossible on this website.

Travelwp,

You should know that the thought police are many and loud here. you should know that what they spout is a very liberal point. They want to control all society, you included. So, all in all, it's best to ignore them. They are simply looking for an opportunity to push their stupid ideas on others.Buy call them what you wish. OKbwith me.

FYI, I have sufficient rules already. If you feel that I don't have enough then it's up to you to cite the rules needed and who made them up. Since others have flogged rules out there, I don't see how it's too personal to ask what these rules are and who formulated them. This seems like some sort of secret society thing to me.

Who makes the rules and why should we follow them?

Why? Don't we have enough rules already?

Do you not recognize all of the tension in this photo?

Dear Starving Artist,

Please relax, don't you see that this forum is for people that don't see things like tension in photos, they are all looking for what they see as "ultimate sharpness."

Keep up the good work, there are to many haters here.

I could never see perfect symmetry as a need for art. I prefer seeing something as it appears in nature, not an over considered construct.

Thanks. I'm not looking for any problems. Just want to be aware of any before I proceed.

Do you enjoy using the camera? Having fun going out and shooting? If you keep looking for problems, none of that will be true.

As to manufacturers software, its mostly lightly modified Silkypix. Not a good thing. That's one place where Leica got it right, just generate a .dng file, which is also supported and readily available without any particular problems. Camera companies have been bad about keeping things secret and developing third rate software.

Problems with one camera's files doesn't mean there will be problems with others.

Bear in mind that it's probably not productive to compare a software's treatment of files from some Fuji cameras against Olympus files. Certain Fuji cameras have a sensor that uses their own proprietary arrangement of the different colored pixels, while the Oly cameras use a standard Bayer sensor. Many have questions of how well the software developers have harnessed Fuji's sensor, and perhaps if the various camera companies would reveal their processing so it not need be reversed engineered would help, but that's not gonna happen.
