in addition instaed of trying to ban these assault type weapons.. lets just put an armed guard in every school, mall, big store, in a park, at the diner,....etc.. in some places when they banned guns it has worked .. in others it did not.. the problem is nra buys politicians to do as they say.... fyi the gun used in the ct shooting was NOT a banned gun,, probably due to on the the nra owned politicians to make sure that was not a gun on the list!!!
and fyi columbine did have a armed guard there.. but he wqas overtaken with the assault type high magazine weapon the pysco had...

this is not an equal conversation.... with cameras you have laws against misuse of a camera.. with guns.. the nra wants to make it so everyone has a gun (I think he wouldnt mind if a 6 year old had guns.. he actually advcated for it with the anouncemnet..The only way to stop a gun is with a gun... so let make small glocks for 6 year olds!!!!) if one need a gun that shoots more than 10 rounds ina magazine to kill a deer or shoot a target.. you need a new hobby..it is not for you... same as if you have had 10 car accidents that was your fault in the last year.. i dont think being a race car driver..(or anthing involving driving ...

sony bought minolta and fyi ,,all my lens/accessories work with my sony a850..

It depends on who you talk to/read.. and some sites give specific sizes where it is safe to look good(and finding a place to print it where it will look just as good on paper/ and not fade)
maybe I am misinformed.. but in the end it is on based on opinion.. some say digital prints fade faster.. and depending on the specific camera (30mp doesnt mean a better picture than a 20mp.. depends on the camera) which I can somewhat understand) I like canon beter than sony/minolta.. but would of been expensive to replace all the lens/accesories I have for that i had for my minolta..
not trying to create a fight.. but stating my opinion..
as i always say to myself.. i can always learn more no matter what I already know.

thanx for the help... I am someone that does not take a lot of pictures hoping to get 1 good one (except for taking pictures of my 2 year old daughter...) I know how to use the camera, and 99% of the time I use it in manual mode and raw only) the only thing I tend to do is bracket.. and decided I will take the film camera, but use it for the shots that would be poster worthy...

was wondering if anyone still uses a film camera, as I am plannig a trip to isreal, and wondering if it still worth bringing a film camera. I currently have a sony a850 (25mp) and I will potentially will blow up pictures in the future. my film camera is also a pro (minolta 9xi). I dont want to bring extra camera stuff, and very undecided what to do?
