This camera was the top of the Olympus micro 4/3 line until recently. It is fully weather proof but I have never exposed it to the weather. It has 15,500 shutter actuations. (Olympus claims some were between 150000 and 200000 for this camera) It has been stored in a RUGGARD climate controlled container. The camera is in like new condition.

The Kit includes the camera, a battery grip, the Olympus Flash, a battery charger and four Olympus batteries. Also included but not shown is an Olympus remote cable release.

Reason for selling the wonderful camera is that I have moved over to the Canon R5 (R and R10 also) For the past year I have been shooting both cameras but at eighty years old it really is getting too confusing working between the two very different memory setting systems

I think that i am very much with you in that my first instinct would be to crop down to the people sitting on the bench and doing what most older Italians (i have been there eight times) do which is to solve all the worlds problems and then go eat. However when I look at your first shot i am really fascinated by that door. The shape and the two handles give it almost a human - big brother looking over the conversation- look. So now my instinct would be to clean up the awning above the woman on the left and to convert the remaining to Black and white. This is a great shot. And by the way there are a few other great street cuts available here. Thanks for sharing

Hi Jack, I am with you. Paul is correct and a few years ago I would have done just that but at 80 i cant always do what needs to be done to compose the picture I want so i count more on post than I ever did in the past.
Cheers……Tony

Last week these incredible sailing machines stopped in Newport RI prior to their next leg sailing to Denmark. There was a week of festivities in port in Newport and I managed to get lots of up close and personal shots of the boats and crews while relaxing, repairing, and of course earning their keep by touting their sponsors. I will post those shots at a later time. Sunday the fleet had in in port race and the race ended with the start of the leg to Denmark. Getting pictures of these boats underway was a real challenge the fleet of boats out observing was large and it was really difficult to get an un obstructive view. I was really lucky in that my brother has a deck high enough that I could sometime shoot above the obstacles. So I brought two cameras and two lenses and two tripods. On one I had my Canon R5 with the RF 100-500 and the RF 1.4. On the other I had the (new to me) Canon R10 with the RF 800mm F11. I shot both at High speed continuous and Servo. Both systems were in auto ISO but I am pretty sure that neither went above 160. Oh yes, the most important fact is that I was between 1/2 mile and 3/4 mile from the boats so what you see here represents significant cropping. The R5 with 45Mps has an advantage in the cropping but the 800mm and the 1.6 APSC really pays off. Hopefully, like me, you will find the comparison especially in light of the cost differential between the two setups. I don't think the titles posted so #1,3, and 5 are the R10 setup while #2 and 4 are the R5

Believe me. I have tried and the extender does not work with the 70 - 200 it only works on the 100 - 500 above 300mm I use that combo often and the results are pin sharp. Plus don’t forget that with 45 mps cropping is really effective.

I hesitate to jump in here but I will any way. I have the R5 and most of the big pro RF lenses that that are available. I love the camera and all that I can do with it but at 80 years old it is with those lenses a bit much to walk around with. So for that I was using the m 4/3 Olympus system. Eventually, however, I got tired of going back and forth from the straight forward Canon menus system to the more convoluted Olympus system. So I sold all of my Olympus equipment and bought the Canon R10 along with the RF 35mm IS 1.8. I can hold this camera in my hand as I walk around and so far the pics are very impressive.

I have the 2.8 on the R5 and for me the main advantage over the 4.0 is the Bokeh effects shooting wide open. When shooting out at 200mm both lenses are equivalent. Also, i find that for distance i always switch to the 100 - 500 and sometimes even with the RF 1.4 extender.

With 7 grand kids all out of school, I have done this several times. I shoot the R5 now. I would take the 70 -200 and in manual mode set the ISO to auto. Also, get there early enough to get a seat on the isle hopefully on the side where she will be walking toward. Shoot in deserve at high speed and you will be surprised at how well the camera handles the situation. Noise from high ISO is easily dealt with in post. Of course you will be shooting RAW.

This is a great street camera in both function and looks with the classic silver and black retro look. Just 5500 shutter actuations. It produces excellent 20 Mp raw shots or creative Jpegs as chosen by the dedicated control dial. The Package will include the camera a battery charger and four new Wasabi Batteries. I am reluctantly selling this camera to consolidate all of my cameras around the Canon R5 and the Canon menu system.

Indeed, I have been shooting it and my Canon R5 and the picture quality is comparable. The IBIS is outstanding.

If you shoot RAW, consider the modestly-priced FastRawViewer that immediately renders the RAW for 1:1 pixel-level detailed review. I cull almost all RAW shoots in this tool before importing into Lightroom Classic, where all the other features I mentioned are employed.

I often think that i overshoot. So this discussion holds great interested for me. I use Photo Mechanic to view my RAW images. I store all of my RAW images on remote hard drives ( three copies from each shoot - I am a belt and suspenders type) so from Photo Mechanic reading from the camera card I erase any gross errors such as camera pointing at ground and shooting. Then I “ingest” the remaining photos onto two hard drives into files named with date and location. I remove the camera card and then fire up Lightroom Classic to import the Raw files from the primary hard drive. Now the culling begins. First pass through is the focus/sharpness. I look at each at the 1:1 and if not sharp I hit Delete(removed from Lightroom file). Next comes the difficult round. “Does this photo accomplish what i thought it would when i took it?” . Finally, with the burst mode that I often use, I will eliminate all but one from the burst using the side by side comparison tool. At the end of all of this my Lightroom Classic file has been reduced in size but all of the original RAW files are still in tact on the Remote disks. Now I can format the card back in the camera and go out and shoot again. What I learned recently - that I have mot been doing- is that this is the time to add key words.
