What are your three lenses?

If you had access to a Domke F1-X, it might fit on the diagonal. But I would test it first. You can get optional shoulder straps. I use this bag extensively. But with a smaller long lens attached to a full frame Nikon. I usually carry two cameras with large lenses attached in that bag, with a bit of closed cell packing foam running the length of the bag to keep the two rigs from banging into each other.

A few years ago I visited Pompeii and Herculaneum in one day. Had time to get a pizza later in Naples.
Could easily spend a day or more in each place, but a few hours in each place gives a good introduction.
Used Sony Next 5N and Sony Next 7. Small cameras. No tripod. No flash. No problems.

If you are serious about a Domke, consider my prior post about Domke bags, which address the clip closures and inserts.

I often don't use the extra padded insert unless the bag is a bit too large for the equipment I am taking. It helps with dust, but a trash or duffle bag is better.

As to the water proofing, you might consider taking a compact poncho for the truly heavy rains. The canvas on the bag itself is just ok for light stuff. I always have a disposable plastic poncho just in case. I have a larger nylon poncho when I am expecting rain. The poncho covers both me and the bag while on my shoulder.

Take a look at Domke Bags. F6, F2, F1-X. Easy to work with while on shoulder. All three fit under airline seat. The F1-X has become my go to bag to organize camera equipment and more on long overseas trips.

Looks like a Chrysler Imperial to me. There are a lot of the "Oldies but goodies" in Cuba.

I was told that the most common older cars are Chevrolet/GMC based. Ford is supposed to be the most rare. It was said this was because, at the time, Ford cars cost more. I do not know the truth of this--but I did not see a lot of Ford cars there. Under the bodies, the actual mechanical systems might be anything--including an improvised use of foreign parts with all the complexity that entails.

Very nice photos. I'd love to visit. I like #5 with Che, and what is that in lower left? A 59 Buick convertible?

Thank you for looking. I am not an old car expert so I can not say. I just noticed the splash of red color. This is the Plaza of the Revolution, I think. I was a bit disappointed that we did not stop for a proper picture. It was essential to do what you could from the bus window. It was cropped to use the top part of the photo.

Here are some additional photos from Havana, Cuba. The first, fourth, fifth and sixth photos are all taken through a bus window (holding a wide angle lens against the glass to reduce reflections). You can see some flare in the sixth photo. The first photo needed a lot of color adjustment to look more natural (still looks a bit like old color film to me). The second and third photos were taken "off tour" early in the morning as I strolled around Havana on my own time. This is the second part of a set that I am putting together to try to capture the feel of Havana for those who are unable (and, in some cases, unwilling) to travel to Cuba. I particularly enjoyed the challenge of trying to capture useable shots from the moving bus.

Enjoy the set.

I lived there for two years (1999-01); it always felt like I was living inside a black and white movie. Incredibly beautiful and photogenic though, and full of wonderful friendly people; just a really oppressive and cruel government.

Havana, at least in parts, is getting a bit of an upgrade for tourism. I would like to go to other parts of Cuba. When I was there before in 2015 I did go outside the city and it was a bit more rustic even than Havana--but it really was from a time gone by. I enjoyed meeting people. Remains to be seen how the government changes, if at all.

Fascinating Country. I must go there some time myself and take some shots.

It is worth the trip--but the current regulations make it more expensive as you must engage an "approved" guide, go in a group, etc. It is not ideal for photography. The cruise stop over was one way to return for a small visit without too much of a premium. There is a list of hotels and other businesses which are not for use by US citizens. The regulations have changed in the past, and may well change again to make travel more economical and free ranging. All the best.

Great pictures!
Up until I was 10, I spent my summers in Cuba with my grand parents. From what I can remember it was a wonderful place, and the beaches were breathtaking!
The day Castro arrived in Havana, my mother, aunt, cousin, and I barely made it back to the U.S.

A week later Castro executed my uncle, and inprisoned my father for 30 years. I never saw my grandparents or father again. But I still have fond memories of the good times I spent there.

Thank you for your comments. The beaches are quite something--though the US regulations seem to suggest that US citizens can not relax on them!

Thank you. There are two more sets in this "series" which I will post, consisting of 6 photos each, I think.

Cuba just does not look like the 1950s; it IS the Fifties!

It looks that way in places--but in the 1950s the buildings were maintained and many of them new. Now, much is in a state of decay. Though the old square area is being renovated extensively.

Very nice series. I love the ‘55 Buick! It must be like going into a time warp.
Steve

It is very much a time warp--but with the locals using cell phones!
