When in the northern part of the Berkshires, I would suggest traveling the Mohawk Trail (Route 2) east from Williamstown, through North Adams to Charlemont and Shelburne Falls where you can see the Bridge of Flowers. As others have said, the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge is worth a visit as is the Clark Art Institute in Williamstown and Tanglewood in Lenox. Take a drive to the summit of Mt. Greylock.
I know your question was about adding a lens to the ones that came with your Canon t6i, but I would highly recommend checking out a video series by John Greengo on using your camera. I own the t6s and found the video series offered by CreativeLive extremely valuable to help me learn all the bells and whistles of the camera.
I would suggest viewing the training course on the Rebel t6 on CreativeLive. It is individual lessons on every aspect of the camera. I found it indispensable.

An interesting article. Thanks for posting.
Thank you for all the links. I love Gene Harris and Ray Brown!
Your photos bring back many wonderful memories of the years I spent in Williamstown and North Adams. My late husband and I traveled the Mohawk Trail many, many times for visits in Shelburne Falls, Charlemont, Greenfield and all along Route 2. Is the old wooden lookout tower still standing at Whitcomb Summit?
Great job. That was fun to go through. I will check out Zno next time.
I, too, have used MyPublisher for years, however, I was not happy with the last book I submitted to them and even less satisfied with their customer service regarding the print job. I determined then that I would not use MyPublisher again.
