thanks to everybody for all the help---I tried all your suggestions and it still is not working. I guess I will look for a new printer the next time I go to the big city!

I am the dummy here but I did this once and found I had replaced the wrong color of magenta. My 6280 did quit a while back and I liked it so well that I bought a used one from ebay. Printers can be frustrating. Hope you get it fixed.

Use a great old tree to get close to this duck. As you see the reflection is mostly hidden.

Because I do not have views like this from my small back yard and I cannot travel to all of them I want to thank everyone who post these fantastic photos on Ugly Hedgehog. Yours is absolutely 'AWESOME". Thanks

Can't identify the bird, but I love the pose and that yellow flower.

Thanks for looking. The bird was rather shy and I could not get close enough for a good photo. The bird was in open country - no trees. Used the car for a blind but it still moved around. Of course the Sun flower just happened.

I just looked at photos of the fork-tailed flycatcher on internet and some of the photos look very similar to this one. What do you think? I appreciate your looking. Thanks

State Bird

Thanks for the reply but I don't believe it is a scissor tailed. I posted these photos that were taken in the same area. They had young with them and it just did not seem to fit.

I should state the the bird acted more like a scissor tail flycatcher and there were some of these in the area but it was quite different than the scissor tail being more brown on the body and top of head.

Thanks for the beautiful Wren photo. We used to have them in our yard but a few years ago they did not come back. Local ornithologist said we were at the edge of their range. We also found wasp nests in their boxes and thought that might have deterred them. But the fact is we miss their cheerful singing and wish they would come back. Thanks for sharing.
