Thank you for sharing your pictures. They look great. Your pictures bring back a flood of memories. My father was born in Mountain View, just a few miles out of the park entrance. For a couple of years back in the 1960s I was employed by Waterton Park as a summer warden. I lived in a cabin near Cameron Lake. I had two horses and patrolled mountain tails, making repairs as needed. I also spent a summer in the Old Chief lookout tower watching for fires. I could tell many bear stories. Thanks again for posting these pictures.

Thank you one and all for your comments. As the day wore on, there were both bald and golden eagles fighting over the coyote.

We see many pictures of flying and perched bald headed eagles. I thought this picture might help viewers grasp the size of these great birds. Not sure of the coyote's demise, but eagle and local ravens will enjoy.

I don't mean to be disrespectful, but the lake is actually Waterton Lake. I grew up in the Cardston area just east of the park. I was working in the park the day President Kennedy got shot.
The lake itself is half in Alberta and the other half in Montana. You must have spent the night in the Prince of Wales Hotel. It is usually very windy where you were standing. Sometimes to the point of blowing you over.
Your early morning adventure resulted in a very nice picture.

Could hear these snow geese making a ruckus a few days ago. They ignored me as I pulled along the field.

The D90 looks and functions as new. Has the charger, manuals and original box. $95.00
