Don't know, but I wish they would upgrade the b700 to a larger sensor. The zoom is great.
I have the B700 and love it. 65x zoom is great for macro too. I carry the Nikon D750 and the B700.

Hi
I have the Sony rx100 iii
No battery issues at all, I always carry a spare though the battery lasts all day
My only issue the the small zoom range . Would like a little more like 8:1
The lens closed and is protected by a metal iris

I have a canon p100 for years
(Now p200 I think)
Never dries out even after months of storage
Very small does 8x11
Needs a power pack

I bought a Nikon 1 v2 with 10-100
My wife's uses it and never has to change lenses
I have a d750 and she takes better photos than me!
16 megapixel is fine
Has built in viefinder which is makes it useable in real life
I went through that problem
I settled on a small hp laptop for a few hundred bucks
Battery lasts 7 hours and you can run many tethering programs on it
I use a long USB cable to my d750
The wireless approaches were not reliable for a long shoot near any other wifi network
Cam ranger is the only other option I know of
Why not use RAW?
Your tossing away lots of info in JPEG
I have a Sony Rx100 m2
It's small , fits in pocket , super sensor , great in low light
Only issue is the small zoom range
I take it to events where I don't want to just take photos but want to be part of the scene too
A use a D750 for everything else
