Nikon B700 RAW File System

I have a question as to why Nikon has created a NRW RAW file system for the B700 camera, are they going to create a whole new file system and stop the NEF file system or will they have these 2 separate systems available?. I have found that the non Adobe products such as Corel, Affinity do not support the NRW system do any of you think those programs will or will they ignore it.

Don't know, but I wish they would upgrade the b700 to a larger sensor. The zoom is great.
