My complaint is that there's little to no "help" available. Not much in the manual - plus the print is smaller than small for my old eyes - and the books I always like by David Busch won't be out for the R7 until March! Guess I'll learn by trial and error... unless someone else know of another helpful book or video . Mirrorless is a new adventure for me.
I just went to a camera store and bought one about 3 weeks ago, though I think it was their only one. I'm liking it so far.
The wide part outside the cording goes into the seam - usually stitched in the seam so that nothing shows on the outside except the actual piping. You'd need to consult a sewing book or You Tube to see how it's done. I'd be afraid the glue wouldn't hold. They do, however, make piping or cording without the "lip" that you might be able to glue on. You'd most likely find that with Home Decorator trims. If you're not in a hurry you could contact G Street Fabrics in Rockville, MD. (240-283-8300) and see if they'd be able to send you some photos or samples. You can also go to GStreetFabrics.com and contact them that way. If there's a Hobby Lobby near, you might find something there. Also Amazon, of course.
Joann's doesn't have much any more but crafts and cheap fabric. You could try Aleene's Tacky Glue - all purpose - but any glue should say if it's appropriate for fabric. Good luck.
Very nice - it has stories to tell
I had a similar situation of someone I couldn't get rid of. I started sending their messages to SPAM and after several times of that, the messages stopped. You might try that.
I love it too and always enjoy barn photos - but I grew up on a farm - also makes me sad.
Beautiful and peaceful. Thank you.
After so many other "downer" submissions today I was so happy - and relieved - to see yours. Thank you - it's what photography is about TO ME - beautiful!

Thank you. I've been wondering the same thing - mainly because I want to keep the lenses I have. So Canon lens will fit on a mirrorless camera? Adaptor?
ChgCanon: Thank you - again - for always going the extra mile to help someone. Your replies are always clear, concise and intelligent and I usually look at your response and ignore most of the others. I stopped reading for a long time because of the smarty/smirky and sarcastic responses of some but decided to be more intelligent myself and ignore those and focus on the positive remarks. Thanks again!
