I cropped the original to remove distractions and put the butterfly in the upper right node of rule of thirds. I tried to leave in some of the similarly colored flowers.

Like the butterfly being more prominent. Thank you for your input.

Visiting my son in Scotland yesterday and liked the look of a plant he had so asked him for a cutting and photographed it with my iphone and after a bit of PP thought it made an interesting subject.

Post process on this was actually more involved than I would like but trying to work out of my comfort zone. Any input would be great. All aspects of photo up for critique. Edited in Photoshop. Original included.

Sometimes your subject is in the one place you can't get a great picture of him. Tried to improve with post processing... Still a cute image I think so sharing. He thinks he is hiding in my tomato plant lol. Hope you like it.

Free Sunday once again. You know how this works. It’s totally up to you to post anything you would like to. If you’ve got something new you’ve learned I would especially interested to learning to. You got left overs form any of the previous challenges we’d all be interested in them. Thanks go to Patography and RichardQ for last week’s two challenges. Sorry I missed Richard’s challenge but I just saw some outstanding hands at work. I had my hands full with guests and a Fed Cup tennis match this afternoon.

Trying cut and paste to put in a more beautiful sky. Still a work in progress but I typically leave an image as shot.

Standing at the lookouts it is hard to comprehend the size of some of the features of this park, please look at the first photo and find a white dot at the end of the first canyon, then the second photo is zoomed in on that dot, makes the scale of depth more notable. Number 3 is for the same reason with the mountains in the background and the people on the rim

Thanks for pointing out the car in shot 1. That does give you the scale really well. Would love to see photo 3 without people in it. That is a beautiful landscape. Thanks for sharing

Love the photos. Lived in Salt Lake for like 20 years and only visited southern Utah a few times. Photo's like yours make me wish I visited more frequently. Happy Shooting
