I think the cig butt in number three killed the killed the guy! Adds to the story.

A man after my own heart! No feeders. Ruby throats are supposed to be East of the Mississippi.
We have mostly ruby-throated hummers here in Fort Worth, Texas. Sometimes I see the black-chinned but not often enough.
What a cool shot! Great work. Thanks for sharing.

It took a long time, but got first Asian Lily bloom yesterday.
Nice picture. I live here in Haslet, too. I would like to send you a private message about our camera club. Maybe you would like to join us (we are meeting virtually right now). Would that be okay?
You could always start your own club. We started a little over a year ago with about 10 people wanting to meet up from our surrounding neighborhoods. One person sent out a message on a message board for our area and got several replies. We now have 31 members and it is a close group. Our members are learning more each month and having a great time. Everybody in this group contributes something.
I live in North Texas and everyone is sheltering in place but we are still having our meetings via WebEx. Still fun even with social distancing.
I wish there was a way we could. Hope the object drops off today.
Check your feeder, that bit looks like it could be the plastic "o" rings around the ports. In one photo I think I see a little bit of red plastic. Maybe the piece came off of a neighbor's feeder. Hope it doesn't stay there long. Have you seen this bird's tongue lately?
Great pictures, Jim. Love the Queen butterfly. Would you mind sharing the date and location of the butterfly festival? I live in north Fort Worth and would love to make a trip to Granbury. Thanks for posting.
Here in Haslet, I have both black-chinned and ruby-throated hummers. For me they are hard to tell apart unless the light is just right on the males or the bird is perched.
Thanks for the info. Age is a number and I plan to add a lot to my number.
Beautiful, thanks for sharing.
Looks like the reflection of a light fixture on the rear glass of the lens to me. Nice shot.
Beautiful images. Such emotions on these faces. I am not so sure JoJo temperament is so even on this day. His expressions says, "Don't even think about it". Great work. Thanks, for sharing. I always enjoy your posts and the information that you provide about your subjects. Hope I can visit your fair city someday, if not, I can enjoy it through your very capable eyes.
Nice pictures, thanks for sharing.
Internet is slow tonight, sorry for the double post.
