The display of Chihuly glass will be at the Biltmore in Asheville, NC until Oct. 7th, in case you want to visit. I recently toured the estate and here are a couple of images from the display.
Nice pictures, thanks for sharing.
He does amazing work. I can't imagine what involved in transporting that and then setting it up.

This great display was at the Dallas Arboretum a few years back. Major hail storm blew through and destroyed many of his works. A must see if you are in the area.

Chihuly glass is quite remarkable. There are multiple displays in the US and the two we have been to were virtually identical.
While the glass is quite wonderful, be aware that little or none is actually made by Chihuly himself - this is a significant sized business.

(Oh, no. Do you mean that my three Tiffany lamps, were possibly not made by Louis Comfort Tiffany himself? Oh, what shall I do?)
OK, johntaylor333....just pulling your chain. In today's world, with its many knock-offs and cheap imitations, one is lucky if the item purchased is actually made by the company it is credited to.
Chihuly glass IS very wonderful....and the Biltmore is a magical place. I can't even imagine having the opulence in those days, to have afforded that lifestyle. I guess if you are a Vanderbuilt....
We went last June at night. It was spectacular. Quite an experience. We highly recommend it.
I agree with jerryc41 about transporting the displays. We saw some of the displays in Seattle a few years ago before we got on our ship to go to Alaska.
