I love the battery grip on my Pentax K3- but I have rather large hands that felt like they were swallowing the camera (without the grip). The weight doesn't bother me either, so I prefer to have one on my camera.

I have the K3 and love it. I also bought the 60-250 F4 DA lens and the two are great together- very sharp. I have an old manual Pentax 50 mm F2 that I use as well and it's sharp. I'm thinking about buying the 100mm macro. Great camera!
