My religion is not a feel good religion. I have bad days as well as good which is common to all men. I would rather be ask about the Hope I have in a man name Jesus then to be ask why I feel good, because tomorrow I may not feel so good but my Hope does not dim.
As for wearing my Faith as a badge, I pray that my faith in God is more than a mere badge but rather a Banner lifted high for all to see. My faith, my religion, my belief in God is nothing that I should be ashamed of but something that I should be willing to die for.

Well said brother, We all believe in something weather we know it or not. You have chosen Romans 10 which is a very good choice. I was wounded in Viet Nam and did not know Christ at the time. I spent 18 months in the hospital with lots of time to think and never considered God. I did not care until I heard of a book called "Power For Living" and they talked about a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I read that book several times and prayed the prayer in the back but nothing happened. I met a gentleman at work and saw that something about him was different. He lived his life as a Christian should, the hypocrisy was gone when it came to Joe's life. It really made me want what he had. I was an angry, bitter, frustrated man whose heart was filled with hate. I soon found a Life with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and since that day that changed my life even though I'm confined to a wheelchair and live with constant pain the bitterness, anger and frustration are gone and I love every day and everything.
Sorry but I got cut off without finishing my thought, The Only way God can accept us is for us to ask God to forgive our sins not through any righteousness of our own but only through the righteousness of Jesus Christ who lived a sinless life and surrendered it to God as the perfect sacrifice for our sins. It's simple that if we believe that Christ Died for us and we trust in Him for our salvation we will be saved, in the last days.
The God who created the heavens and the earth is a holy and just God who created man in His own image. He gave man choice because he wanted us to fellowship with Him willingly. But sin entered the world through Adam as he wanted to be like God but he was deceived by Satan. Christians are not mindless idiots who cling to an imaginary God, but people who have been enlightened by the work of the Holy Spirit. I once believed like you do but at the age of 32 I had everything I ever wanted and more but felt empty. I had sought to find completeness in the things of this world only to be duped into thinking that the things of world are the most important. We are eternal beings created by a holy and loving God who cannot look at sin.
