I received an e-mail from Amazing Files. The subject read Whirl Wind Software downloadable outlet center. They are offering a full version of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3 for Mac at $59.95.
Does anyone know if this is legitimate? I am new to all this, and right now I only use iPhoto on my Mac and would love to get something. Thanks Barbara

Hi everyone, I need to know if I made the right choice. I just purchased a tamron 18-270mm 3.5-6.3 Di II VC PZD lens. I'm very new at this, have read the books that are mentioned by some of the users on this site and have found them very helpful. I have a Canon rebel xsi which I have just started using in the manual mode and have just finished taking a class. I take pictures of everything so is this lens a good take all. Will try and post some pictures that I took with the new lens. Thank you Barbara

JimH, First of all I printed out your explanation, and second I would like to have you as my teacher if your ever in the Atlanta area. You did a good job making it plain and understandable. Thanks from a beginner.

Jonsund, Thanks for posting your settings. Your pictures are great. For me as a beginner it really helps to see what settings are used. I can practice and then say so that's the way it's done. It's not so frustrating and makes me want to do more. Thanks again

I took a beginners photography class, our field trip was to the Oakland cemetery. There is alot of history there, it was beautiful. I want to go back when I get better at photos and also when the weather is cooler. The day I went was at 3pm and in the high 90's
