I never needed photoshop and quit Lightroom when it went to subscription. Although I found Lightroom to be an excellent program, I switched to On1 a very compatible, if not better program. Excellent support, learning tutorials and offers non-subscription options. I have been very satisfied.

We were at Port Aransas, Texas last week 8 Dec. The Whoopers usually fly in late November/early December and stay until March/April. We saw 12 between Port Aransas and Lamar Texas. Lamar has a couple of places designated as refuges. 30 miles East of Port Aransas is the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge with many different birds, spoonbills, cranes, ducks, gators, etc. When there, Lamar is the easiest place to see them. Port Aransas also host the Whooping Crane Festival in late February. Hope this helps.

Whoopers are endangered and are the largest bird in North America. Both migrated to coastal Texas near RockPort Texas.

I switched from the canon system to Olympus. Never regretted the switch. Smaller, lighter camera and lens. Quality images with a ton of features. Be informed that OM digital bought Olympus’ photography. OMD is going to announce a new camera release on Feb 15. I am anxiously awaiting that event because I have the Omd mark ii. I want to see if there will be a successor to the mark iii. Good luck with your choice.
