Hey, if you friends and family remembered That's what counts. Anyway, Happy 80th Birthday. BTW, I will celebrate my 51st anniversary of being 39 in 3 weeks.
Better sell your camera and retire. You will never get a better shot than #1.
That is probably the best reply on a photo I have ever had. I am retired(I was tired yesterday. I'm tired again today.) As a passenger in a car traveling with the flow of traffic, I was fortunate to get that shot with an older cellphone.
Yeah, I remember. A Gung HO veteran? Can't say. But I proudly served. I enlisted in the USAF during the cold war and basic training was 12 weeks. The base I was stationed at in Germany, constantly had war maneuvers. I was in the medical corps and saw too many plane crashes and had to retrieve what was left of the pilots. Pearl Harbor, unfortunately is becoming a faded history.
I remember. I was 7 years old. The fire sirens were blasting, and we had no idea as to why. Heard the news on the radio (no TV, then). Pearl Harbor? Anyway, us old timers remember, but unfortunately the younger generations have no idea.
You need a ticket to enter the museum. They do allow photography there, but NO FLASH. I was there in 2025. At the time I had a Canon 50D. I think I had a Tamron 18-400. Don't quite remember. But did set a higher ISO. You'll love it. Good Luck.
