That is a great picture, the Canon is a great little camera, I have used it more than my Nikon with all of the Lens, with the Canon pick it up and make some adjustment and shoot.

Linda, that is a great set of picture's. I have a question about the SX50, what is the best setting to take pictures of the moon, I am still trying to learn, I have downloaded the manual and like you told me it is very misleading, any tips that you could provide would be great.

Sorry not at 67 years old, no I use a tripod, ISO was 1250, F-8, I think the zoom was at 95mm or it could of been set at 1250 but I do know that it was not at the max. Also Thank You very much that helps me when I am learning.

Where did you take the picture, I would just like to know please? This past weekend I was over in the Gig Harbor area and we had two small one and one very large one flying and my wife could not get the camera out in time to take the pictures. I was driving. and again that was a great picture that you took.

I used my Gloves that I got from Remington I know that here in Washington States they are great, and I have right hand and right index finger damage from Vietnam and this Gloves help me from the cold, so I know for sure they would be great for MI, cause my Wife is from Bay City,

sorry I miss typed that I was with the 2/Bn 47th Mech Inf 9th Inf in May 1968 to May 1969, and when I got back to the States right before I retired the Army put me back in the Inf, with a unit of the 9th Inf 2Bn 1st Inf Div,I was the only NCO with the same patch on both arms, the only pictures that I have, are of dead VC and all of the damage that we did on the search and destroy missions that we were on.

It is funny were I was going threw the photos and I looked at the one of the APC and that was of us the 2/24th Mech Inf, boy did that picture bring back the PTSD and fast.

I served in the 9th Inf Div, 2nd Bn 1st Inf Div, 1968-1969,most of the time we were in the rice fields, and in the Tet offenses and then in the hospital three times, camera were not on my mind at that time of my life.

This was taken at JBLM (Fort Lewis, Wa) on a day when the Sun is out in the Great State of Washington you can see the Mountains in the back grounds.

On the days that the sun is out I am alway on the other side of post

You are right the pictures of the moon were taken in the afternoon at about 5:15 or so and the ones of the Waterfall were taken without a Tripod and in the rain and wind. The one of my Grandson is also free hand every time he see the camera
he just yells and runs. So I Thank Every One for all of the help that I can get.
