Haha. I am getting old but I have never seen this person before in my life. I may not have gotten a new camera. I need to check the shutter count. I really wouldn't think B and H would sell a used camera as new.
I had taken more than a hundred photos already and had copied them to the computer.
After that I put the card back in the camera and formatted it. I always reformat after downloading them.
The card was already in the camera.
I bought it from B and H photo so I know they are a reputable outfit. I can't imagine getting a used camera that was advertised as new. It looked brand new.
No I have been taking pictures for a couple of months and it had the Nikon numbering system on it. And it wasn't the first photo in the sequence. It was just in the batch with the other pictures.
A really strange thing happened to me the other day. I was out shooting with my Nikon D-7200. I bought it a couple of months ago, brand new. When I took out the sd card to download to my computer an image of a total stranger was among the shots I had on the card. The thing is no one but me has ever used this camera but me. Could someone have hacked my camera since it does have wifi? Of course the wifi is not turned on while shooting. Could the seller have used an sd card that had been used? Anyway I was wondering if this has ever happened to anyone on this forum before.

I use manual almost all the time. I look at the meter. Sometimes I want it a little underexposed, sometimes right on zero. It depends on the situation. I set the iso where I want it. I play with the f stop to get the depth of field that I want or change the shutter speed to get the affect I want. It's really quite simple. It's not hard at all. I don't understand what all the fuss its about.
I had a similar problem a while back and was able to use a program (free) called Recuva and was able to get my pictures back. Hope it all works out for you.
Very nice. Love them all. Beautiful place too. If you turn the fourth pic 90 degrees to the right so that it's vertical it looks like a tree.
