Amazing shots!

Thank you,

I have seen more amazing shots than these but they were done with all kinds of fancy electronically controlled valves and a computer that tied the camera, valves, and flash together. I will probably get there someday but these are done with a $25 homemade drip valve, one off camera flash, and using my sense of rhythm to fire the shutter. :D

I like #2 also, the contrast between the two colors.

Today I was at it again. This time with water, dish soap, food coloring, and a variety of back drops.

I live in Moline. I haven't been to the dams this year (yet). Great pictures!

I would make the trip
Due to the polar vortex season we have many more eagles down here than I have seen in years past.

I shoot at L&D 14 a lot. Meet some interesting people too. Nice set!!

Thanks, I went with a Group of photogs from Dekalb, IL. We have all levels in our group from P&S to very serious enthusiasts, I fall a bit closer to the last group but not a serious BIF photographer, just eagles. I mostly shoot abstract, sports and scenery.

If you mat with a 12x18 opening and a 3" overall matting you can use an 18x24 frame which is a standard size.

I have done business with them in the past but that was several years ago. Never had a problem. Sorry to hear that they may not be operating the same, hopefully this is just an isolated incident and you can get it resolved quickly.
